I put the Hogue grip on ,perfect match ,a touch of class! Also put the Apex sear and put in the Apex striker block plunger and sanded out the opening for it, smooth as silk . Also put the Dawson fibre optic, just the front, sight on . There is still a bit of travel in the trigger but ,I'll know if I can handle that next visit to the range. S&M M&P Shield a great firearm ,everyday carry.

Do you recall what height front sight you used? I have trijcon night sights and would like to swap the front for a fiber optic.

I tried it on my v2.0 but it made it too thick for EDC. It felt great, but was a bear to get on.
I agree totally with the bear to get on but once on it is a very nice fit. Had a pachmayr grip that became loose and would slide down and interfere with magazine insertion after a few shots. Glad I put the Hogue handall grip on.

I have the TFO's Fiber Optic Tritium sights (love em). I also have the CT Laser Guard green laser. I installed a Hogue grip and had to trim a U shaped cut (where the middle finger goes) in the Hogue grip for the laser activation button. On my 7rd mag, I installed a Strike Industries +2 mag extension...this is my carry mag and the Strike Industries extension plus the Hogue grip REALLY gives a nice feel to the gun (almost like it's molded to fit my hand). I also installed a Hyve mag release extension because I sometimes shoot wearing gloves. I have 10rds in the gun. All my other 8rd mags (5) have Hyve +2 extensions...I carry 60rds total in 6 mags. Not bad for a little 9mm 1.0 Shield. My Shield is still very concealable with the Strike Industries mag extension. I wear baggy clothes (and no I'm not fat) so everything covers up nicely on my webbed Batman accessory belt or I can just stick my Shield in my Carhart coat pocket or Cargo pants pocket with an extra mag or two in the other pocket. Hope I gave you some ideas.

I used a heat gun to slightly heat the grip and a bit of silcone spray on the gun butt. Then a slight fight and and grimace and it was on ,all while my wife was laughing..It was worth it.

Like the way the Pachmayr feels on my Shiled but also have slight slippage issue. (rotating around slightly after use but not slipping down) . May try hogue.

I have the Hogue Grip on my Shield, but rather than fight with it I let my smith do the fighting. I also have the Tyrant extended mag release and The Apex Kit but kept the OEM trigger. Works great the the S&W trigger doesn't hurt my finger.

I installed a Hogue grip on my 9mm Shield PC 1.0 last year and it has remained tight for several range trips. As others have stated it can be a chore to get on but worth the battle IMO. It improved the feel of the grip for me.
