Same here as Der Biermeister on my Shield 40. Ameriglo SW-145. Purchased from Optics Planet. Made for the Shield. Great day and low light. I am used to the 3 dot system so no trouble getting used to. All 10 ring at 30ft with this little package.

Heine straight eight. I love these much better than the three dot. Very fast target accusation for self defense and if I want precision I use them just like regular irons

TruGlo TFO's on my Shield......green/green.....I love'm!!!

FINally got my Trijicon HD's for the Shield. SA139-O. Having them installed tomorrow. I found them in stock on Amazon.

Has anyone tried to get just a front night for the shield? I have the trijicon HD's on several of my glocks but they are kinda pricey. Any thoughts? Thank you.

One Brand For Shield

I have a 9mm and its shoots great and carries well. Now I want to had some tritium sights, but I am unable to find any except XS sights that say they fit the Shield. Does anyone have NS on their Shield and what kind.
Thanks

Ameriglo has them for your Shield. Several on line sellers.
You may choose the (much preferred by most) the three
dot ones or the dot over dot ones. I chose the dot over dot
and they really show up. I chose the ones with the front sight
that has an orange outline around the tritium. That really makes
a good day time sight as well.

I ran a night sight on the front only on my Compact-removed when I sold the pistol, gave the sight to my son for his Shield. He loves it.

I run a front night Novak on my 1911 with a wide notch rear. Big fan of front only. Will be doing that when I get my own Shield.

For me, the heinie straight eight style of sights are the fastest for sight acquisition.
