M&P V-Tac

I saw an M&P dark earth with nite sites, V Tac. Is this an improved model. Parts upgraded or what? Trigger seamed better than basic FS. What is the extra costs for, sights?

The Vtac has been out for a while and was a run partnered with Viking Tactics. The differences from the other M&P models of course is the color, sights and there is a difference in the sear housing block. The sights alone are $240 from Viking Tactics web site. I own two of them (9mm and .40) and the triggers do feel better to me then standard ones.

Nutball763, based on a report of replacing the standard barrel with an after market, I have ordered a KKM 40 to 9 barrel for my V-Tac and a Storm Lake for the FS. Report is on the 18-8 webb and looks very well researched. Dated 6-24-12 and goes into the reasons for the poor accuracy of some M&Ps. Will report when barrels arrive and I can get to the range.

I think I know where I can get a TB barrel for the FS and put that into the test also.

I own 10 M&P Pistols (yup 10) and all shoot great with no issues.

Over a 1000 rounds through my 40 VTAC with no issues!!

Picked up a TB for my 9 and can't wait to get it to the range to see if the accuracy improves.
