Has anyone had any issues with finding a set of optic height sights on your optics ready M2.0? I have an M2.0 optics ready with the 4.6inch barrel in 10mm. I bought a set of Trijicon 3 dot night sights and the rear sight just slides right through the dove tail from one side to the other with just the push of a finger. I spoke with Trijicon and confirmed the set I ordered was correct for that pistol. I was told to use the set screw only and it should be fine. I’ve changed many sights over the years and never had a sight just slide right in with finger pressure, I have always had to drift it or sand/file down to fit if extremely tight. I much prefer tolerance fit versus just depending on a set screw. I have a M&P9 M2.0 optics ready coming that I will see if that fits better on, but in the mean time I am looking to see if anyone else had more success with their pistol, specifically what brand and model of sight you bought. Considering a Dawson Precision at this point. Thanks guys!

I'm not really sure what you're asking here. Are you just wanting to upgrade to night sights to use with an optic? I have an M&P 10mm 2.0 (4.6" bbl.), and as far as I know they all come equipped with tall iron sights to work with optics and/or suppressors. The stock S&W iron sights on my 10mm co-witness perfectly with my Holosun 507C, and I like those sights very much- with or without the red dot optic installed. I don't know why you feel that you need to change out the sights, but it sounds like those expensive Trijicons were not machined to properly fit the M&P 2.0 dovetails and could shift during use. Sorry, can't help with other brands of sights...I like the S&W sights.
