Hoping this is the correct area for posting this question.
Currently own a M&P15 Sport and purchased a new upper with gas piston. I would like to use the Sport upper and convert to a dedicated .22lr tack driver.
I already own/use a Cierner BCG with a CMMG anti-jam charging handle and a Taccom pressure plug. Besides a .22lr barrel (there is one from CMMG that comes with a barrel adapter), are there other needs to convert my Sport upper?
If I get a different barrel mentioned above, will I still need to get a barrel adapter if I leave the chamber adapter intact?
