Sorry guys, don't mean to beat this subject to death, but I was once again checking the action of my slide. Even after I oil it properly, the slight is too tight in my opinion. I'm new to guns, but am a bit of a mechanic. So the slide gets hung up, either where is rubs on the cocked hammer or on the sides. Can't say for sure. In fact, if I pull the slide back, i can eventually get it to remain in the back position. The friction of the slide is greater than the strength of the recoil spring. Meaning i can get the slide to hold open without the slide lock in the up position. Also, i noticed the tip of my hammer appears slightly pitted, like it's a poor casting and/or finish. Not sure if that is normal. I'll post a pic later. Again, I only have about 50 rounds of CCI SV through it, but got frustrated with all the fail to feeds i gave up. Maybe it needs more break-in time.
