I have an M&P 22 but its a tad big for my boys' hands. Is the M&P22 Compact any smaller in the grip? Photos and maybe a measurement (thickness and circumference) are appreciated.

I don't know if you have an M&P Shield, but it's nearly identical to the height of the Shield grip with the extended mag in it.
It has about the same overall "finger wrap" as the Shield, but with just a slightly different feel to it. Overall, your fingers will wrap around to the same location on the other side of the grip though. As the video mentions, it is very similar to the Shield, but not exactly the same.
My tween kids and wife can hold it comfortably. I love shooting it! Smith and Wesson figured out how to #makefunfunner with this firearm! =)

Excellent video, thanks for posting. I've had a Shield for some time and now my 22 compact is on order from PSA.
