My wife and I are part of a small group of people who periodically get together, with an instructor, to run shooting scenarios. An hour into last night's session my wife began complaining that her M&P40 was behaving abnormally. She described it as an occasional, short-lived apparant reduction in trigger travel distance and/or trigger pull weight; as if, she said, she were shooting a revolver DA and, once every dozen or so shots, it would react as if SA. Another hour later, and still complaining, we swapped gear but at no time in the third/final hour did I sense anything like what she had reported. Might anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on (either with the pistol or with her)?
