M&P45C Magazines

I am thinking of purchasing the M&P45C. I do not see any SKU's on the S&W web-site for their flat-bottom magazines. Are there any such magazines out there in the marketplace that one can purchase? I do not like the extended mags. I want the flat-bottom mags, if I purchase the M&P45C. Any input?

If the 45 is shipped the same way as the 9/40 compacts, one will be extended and one will be flush. If both mags are extended, call up S&W customer service. They will send you a flush one.

My problem is not what they shipped. I have not purchased the firearm yet. I was just wondering if there is a SKU from S&W for ordering extra flat-bottom magazines to add to what they include in the original purchase. I do not like the extended feature. I like the flush fit for concealed-carry.

Yeah, that's weird. They don't show it in the M&P magazines
section. You'll probably just have to call customer service & ask.
it must be available if one comes standard with the gun.

All you need to do is switch out the extended (or finger grip, as I think they may be called) magazine base plate for the flat magazine base plate. If yours doesn't come with one, you can call S&W and they will send you one for free.

Or, you could post a WTT in the classifieds here...a lot of people (myself included) prefer the extended base plate, and would probably trade you their flat for your extended.

As for buying additional magazines, Greg Cote LLC still has the M&P 45c magazines in stock...at least they did, as of this morning.
