I bought a new M&P9 about a year ago. It has not fired properly since i brought it home. The first four rounds of each mag will fire, eject, but the new round gets fetched up just before it gets into the barrel until i manually rack the slide. The rest of the rounds in the mag fire just fine.
I sent it back to S&W, they had it for two months, would not answer any questions, and I just got it back saying they replaced the barrel, and the problem is still there, no change.
I am using winchester range ammo. I have tried some other ammo with same results.
I only have about 50 rds through the gun. Ive had people tell me i need to put a couple hundred rounds through it before it will work right. This doesn't work for me on a few levels. I bought the gun for home defense, not sport. If it said on the tag in the store that it would not work right as it sat, I would not have bought it.
S&W is telling me to send it in again. No other info except send it in. Am I wasting my time? If they cant fix it after having it for two months, what the hell are they going to do this time??
Did I just get a lemon ?
