M&P9 M2.0: Safariland 6379 ALS Clip-on Belt Holster

The 7TS is the updated model for the holster above. It is a little sleeker and lacks the suede lining (thank God, because the suede holds lots of dust and dirt). I use the light bearing model of the 7TS as a duty holster. This provides a quick draw and because it lacks a hood and other retention systems, I can easily draw with my support hand if my strong hand gets injured. I never used the clip and I don't care for paddles. I use the 1.75" belt loop for off duty and 2.25" belt loop for my duty rig.

We decided not to use the 7TS for duty with a WML because the samples we tried caused the gun or light to rattle as you walked. I've spoken to officers who've had their 7TS holsters split at the seam. The 6300 series holsters never made noise, probably partially due to the suede lining, and their wrap around design were tough.

That's really interesting. Yeah, I love mine. I've done one hand manipulations, racking my slide using my rear sights against the holster's edge, etc. I'll have to monitor mine. As for noise I never really noticed any issues with mine. I use a Glock 21 with Streamlight TLR-1 Is HL.
