I posted this in the semi-auto forum and just realized (Duh) that there is this sub-forum for M&Ps. So if you're seen this already in the other forun, just ignore. For those who haven't:

I'm considering an M&P9 Pro and was wondering if any of you folks have one, and what you think of it. I like that it has a fiber optic front sight. The web sight also lists the trigger pull as 'smooth' and 4-5.5 lbs. Can any users confirm what the trigger is like?

My purpose for the pistol is strictly as a range gun, not self defense. I currently have an XDm (among others)that I like very much, so I'm considering a second polymer pistol.

Thanks for any input.

I tried searching for M&P, but there must be some trick to it because it doesn't get any results for me. I tried using single and double quotes around M&P and still no results.

I have a new MP40 pro and it has a sweet trigger, no grit and it's one of those that's almost a surprise when it fires which to me is a plus.:D Can't wait to see if a couple of hundred rounds makes it even better.

I have had my M&P Pro 9mm for a couple weeks now. I shot 100 rds thru it last week for the first time and love it.

I wanted one after shooting the non pro 9mm.

Trigger pull is way lighter and she is fun to shoot. I am very happy with my purchase.

My Pro9 has a better, lighter trigger than the regular M&P's I played with at the gunstores.

I shot Action Handgun with mine, yesterday, for the first time. The sights are great, the PC sear gives a much-improved trigger and the ergonomics are first-rate. To top it off, mine ate my first-ever batch of reloads without a hiccup. It's truly a great pistol for gun games.

My M&P trigger surprised me... In a bad way. Maybe I should have bought the pro, but never compared side by side. Well actually I got a great deal at $424 out the door so I didn't squabble. But a new Apex trigger is $90!!!!
