So every range trip I've had, when cleaning after shooting there has always been quite a bit of brass shavings in the slide. I've got about 600 rounds through the gun at this point. Today I decided to check out the firing pin and channel, seems to be good, but as I had the gun apart checking things out, I look at the face of my ejector and it looked pretty rugged. I mean, I didn't expect it to be perfectly smooth, but something about the way the face looks just doesn't seem quite right. I searched around but couldn't really find any good pictures of the contact point of the ejector, so I was wondering if anyone with a m&p pistol would be willing to snap a pic of what there ejector looks like. I'd put one up but my iphone picture quality just isn't cutting it. All this brass is becoming annoying, so I'd just like to see if this ejector is the culprit behind all of these flakes

Thanks for taking the time to snap those picture. Picture 3 is the piece of the ejector that's in question. That face that's facing forward looks pretty rough and marred on mine, but its not really making connection with the round. I'm not sure if hitting it with a file or sand paper would be advised or not, I don't want to compromise functionality... But something is putting all these brass flakes in the gun, and this piece looks pretty gritty. If this isnt it, I can only imagine it's the extractor
