18 posts later and no one has mention the Uplula.

Did anyone mention ONE SIZE FITS "most" if not ALL centerfire mags ? So you don't have different loaders laying around.

Actually. UPLula and Frog Lube should be bought as a package. Both are a gotta have.

Lula has worked on 3 different 9mm`s I`ve had...and now on my two M&P 9`s....

Look, I'm telling you, all of these guys are WRONG! Listen, here's what you do: Go to your local LGS (hopefully they've been in the business long enough to know), bear in mind, they might not know what you're talking about, but you go up to the counter and ask if they have an Uplula speed loader. They may think you said something else, but make sure you say Uplula. If you can find a place that's heard of it, it's MUCH better than what these guys are trying to sell you.

Remember, UPLULA. It's a unicorn among speed loaders, but it's worth the hunt when/if you can bag one!

My HKS 940 works just fine for my full-sized, double stack magazines, and current prices are considerably less than the UpLULA.

You might want something else if you need much shorter, narrower, or single-stack capability.

I have a UpLuLa, shield .40 with 9mm conversion barrel, 2 shield .40 mags, 2 Shield 9mm mags, and a couple hundred rounds of .300 AAC Blackout.

Oh and did i mention I have a UpLuLa. The unicorn among all those other unicorns.

Does anyone need a unicorn? Too many hanging out in my stable.

How the heck do you unload with it?

You should see an engraving of a cartridge on the side with the lanyard ring. This also has a little protrusion that you would use to unload the rounds from your magazine. Just face the engraved cartridge in the same direction as your loaded rounds, catch the rear of the top round with the protrusion and push each round out. I'd rather use my thumb, but this works if you have no thumbs.

Took the advice on this thread and ordered the upLula. I can't believe I got by without this loader before. It works perfect. I could load the mags before on my M&P 9 and Nano but with the usual difficulty and sore finger. My wife couldn't load the mag on her Nano (fancy nails). She just sat in front of the TV last night loading and unloading for about an hour and is even happier than I am. Don't have one?? Get one!!! Got in on Amazon. Arrived in about 3 days after ordering.
