A few weeks ago, I picked up a LNIB 9c @ $325. Had never even considered the compacts, as I had 3 FS M&Ps and 3 Shields. I actually like the 9c and will put into CCW rotation after more shooting and trying different defense ammo.

So today, went to one of the LGS and found it's sibling; another LNIB 40c!! $320 :D Checking the dates on both pistols, the 9c date is 11-13-2013 and the 40c date is 11-19-2013  What are the chances? LOL

So, my next purchase will be a 45c, will the madness ever stop??:rolleyes:

Oh, you got M&P fever bad. I'm not much better, was thinking on the way home from work about maybe head to an indoor range this weekend and rent a 380ez, just to see how it fits. Won't buy one,no,no won,t buy one, though:D

I bought a Shield PC 9mm for my wife. She loved it so much she told me I needed one so I got a .40 Shield PC. I love it and am thinking I may need a .45 Shield!

You might as well go ahead and get one! The 45 Shield feels really good in the hand, just slightly larger than the 9/40. You won't regret it :D;)

Well, here we go again! Since picking up my 9c & 40c; been on the look-out for a 45c. Today was the day! :D

Went to all the LGS here and in my hometown but no luck. Checked GB and found a decent deal, but really wanted to find one locally if possible. Wife and I enjoyed the day and traveled to locations out of town. Finally found a NIB at, CABELA'S in Noblesville, IN. New and priced at full retail, but in the Gun Library. Had been marked down by a Mgr. to $449. Asked for a lower price and the salesman located the Mgr. Not a screaming deal, but down to $426 + tax.

Date on box is 11-16-16, so newer than the 9c/40c (both 2013).
So, my little family is complete LOL :) Now for add'l mags and some range time!! Life is good....:D

I've said it many times... M&Ps are like tater chips.

M&Ps are like screwdrivers. Once you have one that works, that's plenty.

On the other hand, 1911s and s&W revolvers . . . .

Im the same way, I just got two M&P's this summer and im set. Love both of these guns but have no desire to get anymore. Back to my 1911 and Hi Power addiction....

I have always had a strong dislike toward plastic pistols. Especially the glock. Its ergonomics and aesthetics REALLY pull a vacuum. Plus I despise a plastic pistol with a "dingus" in the trigger. Then the Shield came along. After much research. I bought one in 9mm. Really liked the looks/aesthetics/grip angle/thinness and appearance. After tapping the front sight to the left it shot spot on. Liked it so well that I bought the 45 version. Then later bought the 40 version. In my hands the 45 seems a little more accurate. BTW I shoot cast bullets in all 3. One the three is my everyday EDC replacing a long carried 642. These are my first foray into plastic pistols and so far its been great. IF???? I started messing around with those M&P's I may have to have a few of them too....

I bought the Shield 9mm and the .22 Compact. Like both very much. No desire to continue collecting them. Fingers crossed.

I have a nice S&W revolver. But I still prefer to have different screwdrivers for different jobs.
