1976 vintage M19-3 has standard trigger and hammer. I want to install a target trigger. Was it a .400 or .500 type, or either? I have already purchased a .500 hammer off Ebay. Thanks, Big Larry
Well thanks all. I went with the .500 as the first poster advised that was correct for a M19-3. Too late now. I already bought it.
As for the holster setting the gun off, no worries there, as I am pretty much a collector now, and probably won't even shoot it. Always wanted one with the 3 "T"'s. Thanks again, Big Larry
Big Larry...I believe the 0.500 inch wide target trigger is correct for your Model 19-3. The one shown below was shipped in October 1971 and letters with a TH, TT, red ramp, white outline, and Class C-engraving. The width of the TH and TT are 0.500 inch. I have owned three other .357 Combat Magnums with a TH and TT trigger, a Model 19 and two Model 19-2s; all measured 0.500 inch wide. Click on the photo for a better look.
