M22A trigger pull and sear

I recently tore my M22A down and polished the sear ( as described on another forum ) in an attempt to lessen the trigger pull.
Although not shown in the other post, after reassembly I coated sear and hammer with gunslick.

My questions are - 1) did I defeat the purpose of the polishing job by using the gunslick, and -2) is it necessary to even oil the sear at all.

One small drop of Remoil would be more appropriate.

Next time I take it that far down, I'll clean off the gunslick and just use the remoil
