Thanks! The grips are French Walnut, and are eye popping. All the edges are smooth, mated edges are almost seamless, and feel in hand is terrific.

I purchased these second hand off either this forum or the sixshooter board serveral years ago. Buying custom grips second hand can be risky, but these fit my 25-5 almost perfectly. When I swapped them with another pair of Fishpaws on a M57, neither fit, so I switched 'em back and won't move them again.

They are a bit smaller than I had expected, based on the previous pair which are much wider around the mid- and lower- sections of the grips. They are obviously fuller and longer than magna grips, but are more slender than target type grips, resting somewhere in between. Perfect for this revolver, which is no sunday shooter.

Roy Fishpaw's work is absolutely top notch. Sadly, he is no longer accepting orders from new customers.

You're lucky they fit - to get grips from Roy, one had to ship the frame to him for the grips to be fitted to that specific gun. For the exterior dimensions, you traced your hand, and he would make them accordingly, which is why some are thinner than others.

He's making some for me now. Waiting list was about three and a half years :)

The other set I own are huge, made for someone with seriously big paws, and nicely tuliped at the top. They work nicely as target type grips, and live on my M57.
