M28 Fair Valuations?

doing a good deed

Doing right for the widow is very important and the expected thing for any of us gun people to do.

Aside from that, and I do not know why, I have seen numbers on Smith that I look for, Bangor or later, come down. Definitely not riding higher form what I have seen in the last year. May also be true for Snake guns not riding higher either.

Is that so? In any event, good for my collecting 'condition'.

But they show up from time to time. Just bring money because they do not last long. This works for South Western VA anyway.

While I agree that deals do show up and you should have cash available when they do, sometimes waiting for that great deal ends up just being a lot of waiting. Spending a few bucks more involves owning and shooting. I already own 6 HPs and don't regret what I paid for any of them. But, where some people see a shooter 28. I see a shooter 44 or 45 LOL

Would someone please tell me where they are finding adjustable sight N frames in good working order for under $500. I would get a couple.

All I can say is they are out there for the taking it seems. Being patient in the search process is definitely key. The one I stumbled upon was in a pawn shop, it looked like hell, the cylinder wouldn't release without some serious coaxing, but the stocks looked ok, And bingo, I wound up with it.

As I put in my similar thread here , I'd be looking to get 3-6 items . At this point I'm trying to get ideas in my own head on individual pieces,.and will round up on the total.

Adjusted for cost of living , our situations are more or less similar .

No , scooping the whole collection ( not retained by wife or sons) is not possible , but would interesting given the similarity in our interests.
