M36-1 J frame

Attached is a pic of my "new" 36-1 - 3 inch.

Hard to see, but the barrel is pinned.

Date of MFG was 76/77 according to the Catalog.

I don't want any safe queens, so she will probably be used mostly at the range.

Looking forward to see how she shoots.

Very nice . . . The combination of the heavy 3" barrel and the square butt grip frame makes for a very pleasant experience . . . I predict you will be very pleased . . . about as natural pointing as any I've shot.

Cool gun. I have the same model in 99+% condition with a round butt configuration. Great shooter. The 3 inch heavy barrel make these a real pleasure on the range. Carries as easily as a 2 inch.

I have one just like it and agree with this completely. One of my favorite guns to shoot. I did add a T Grip which makes it near perfect. I wish it were easier to find a decent holster for it. Might have to give Ray at Lobo a call.

I predict you'll enjoy your range session quite a bit.!

I have my M36-1, round butt. They are fine shooters & in a proper holster the 3" tube is not an obstacle to concealment (barrel near verticle). My banana targets are as wide as the cylinder...

Cool little J. The 3" barrel & square butt on the small frame makes it look kinda like a mini model 10 with a 4" barrel. I LIKE IT!

I've got one of those suckers too and they are GREAT shooting little 38 specials. The Bull barrel and Square Butt make it a real pleasure and as long as you don't intend on pocket or ankle carry, they make damned fine carry and SD guns.
