Happy Independence Day! I started my fireworks a little early. I am most happy with my recent purchase. As I mentioned in a previous post, I think S&W did a good job on my example. Here are the results. All 60 rounds were fired in double action. 55 shots were at 7 yards, 5 shots at the tree were at 10 yards. The first 20 rounds were fired while seated with the guns trigger guard resting on bags. The remaining 40 rounds were fired off hand.
First 5 rounds fired: Sellier & Bellot 38 special 148 Gr Wad Cutters utilizing a 6 o'clock hold on the orange bullseye.

All subsequent rounds fired were with a dead center hold. The second set of 5 rounds were: Freedom Munitions 38 special 158 Gr FMJ Flat Point.

The 3rd 5 rounds were: Blazer Brass 38 special 125 Gr FMJ Flat Point.

The 4th 5 rounds were: Speer Gold Dot 38 special +P 135 Gr GDHP.

The 5th 5 rounds were: Freedom Munitions 38 special 158 Gr FMJ beginning the remainder of fire in off hand.

The other 3 brands of ammunition were rotated in to complete this range session.

I hit the tree with 3 out of 5 shots at 10 yards. Freedom Munitions 158 Gr.
