Well, ****. I bought this old 39 strictly for resale. Now, I will probably have to keep it.
First problem is my wife likes it and wants it. Second, I took it over to the range this afternoon and it far exceeded my expectations for accuracy and proved 100% reliable. At a full 25 yards, or maybe a little more, I was getting about 2.5" groups using some handloads with homecast bullets meant for plate shooting at half that range.
I spect it might do better with ammo tailored to the gun.
