greetings,

I recently purchased one of these, after lusting over it for years!

Current problem: can't find any good holsters for it; I have searched on-line as well as this forum with no results.

Do I have to resort to a generic "one size fits all" nylon scabbard?

Are there any holsters that are open ended and I have to let that last 1" stick out?

Any help appreciated! :)

For regular belt carry I use this Simply Rugged pancake for 3,3 1/2 and 4 inch J frames
It does them all.

I think just about every high end holster maker will make you a holster for a 3" Model 36/60 revolver

Call them on the phone and discuss what you want

Just because it is not pictured on a website does not mean that they can't make you one.

I did not know that - thank you! :)

for my 60-15 I got a Bianchi at Midway. They even had it in left handed. It rides high an very comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that all the holsters for my 3" Kimber K6S also fit my new 3" SP101 in .327 Fed Mag like a glove. As a lefty, that was a big help to my wallet. The holsters include a DeSantis Paddle, a Simply Rugged pancake, and a nice OWB from MD Whitefield out of Texas.

The 3" M-60 might be close enough that you could go that same route. Note that all of these are open top, which is my preference, even when I have a hammer spur to secure a strap.

thanks for the hint!

My 60-15 rides in a Milt Sparks VMII.

Perfect fit and all-day comfortable.

I have a 36-6 and a 60-4, same gun, except in .38 rather than 357 mag, little shorter cylinder.

I'm a Roy Baker pancake lover and I found one of Baker's holsters for a three inch J frame. Works great, but not made since the early 1980's.

Its the upper left in this photo.
