M637 rebound slide spring

I changed my M637 reboung slide spring with a Wolffe 11#. The trigger would not return properly. I figuared I used to light of a spring, however on my M60 I used the 11# spring and it worked OK. What is the best spring to use in my M637. What may the likelyhood of the lighter spring failing in the M60? Thanks

I use 14-15# rebound springs. They work fine in my 442, 640 and 686 and give me lighter trigger and better accuracy than factory 18# springs. After debur and polish smith revolvers don't really need 18# for reliable reset. Tried lighter springs too but trigger just doesn't "feel right" for a carry gun.
