Mac users your browser of choice

I have the following on my Mac, Safari, Opera, Foxfire, and Vivaldi. up until about two weeks ago I had been using Vivaldi which was/is fast, however after the last two or three updates it has started crashing about twice a week so I have switched to one of the others (which will remain nameless for this discussion). I have been thinking about Chrome but, don't want to clutter up my machine any more than necessary but, if it is the general consensus here, I might consider giving it a try. So my question is what is the choice of others?

I've used Firefox for the past few years. Safari got to be a huge memory hog, so I switched. Maybe they've improved Safari since then, but I'm happy with Firefox, so I've stuck with it.

I find I need to run several, as no single browser works everyplace.

My primary is Firefox with JavaScript disabled.
When I need a page that requires JS, I first try Chrome with ScriptSafe.
I use Safari with JS fully enabled on pages I trust.

I recently purchased a MacBook Air and Safari has worked so far. I've had an iPhone for years and on the phone, at least, I like Safari.

I use firefox. For a search I dont use google I use duckduckgo it does not track you. Jeff

Chrome, Firefox, Safari, then Vivaldi in that order. Vivaldi is a bit buggy right now. Otherwise I'd use it all the time because of the tracking blocks.

Safari here but after using Macs for a long time I have gotten used to customizing it and doing things like assigning function keys as I like, such as F5 is refresh page on most browsers but not on Safari unless you assign it which I did. I am too lazy to do that with other browsers. The only thing I don't like about the recent upgrades to Safari is it eliminated all non Apple store extensions. I loved the autopagerize extension to scroll endless at the bottom of the search page on the browser but it is gone.

I have found also that Vivaldi is also a good bit faster then Safari. The buggy part is why I am not using it right now. If they ever get it squared away I will probably go back to it full time.
