Mag spring for MECGAR 5906 series mag

I have some 15 round mecgar magazines for my 5906 S&W. When the mag springs get weak in the mecgar magazines can the springs be replaced with standard springs designed for use with factory S&W mags? Thanks for any info.

call and ask the people at WOLF GUN SPRINGS THEY MAKE REPLACEMENT MAG SPRINGS

My guess is that the Mec-Gar and S&W springs are the same. Mec-Gar was likely the manufacturer of the S&W magazines.

I would ask MecGar - I think they have an Internet presence. But be aware they make a 17 rd version as well as the older more common 15 rd version you have and now they have a version with a plastic base (10 rd??) - None are identical to the SW 15 rd mags with respect to shell or follower. I am guessing you are correct the SW 5906 springs would work, but why not at least check the manufacturer.
