Magazine failure on shield

New to the forum. I came here for an answer. I purchased a 40 cal shield six weeks ago. When I discharge a round with the extended magazine, the magazine consistently becomes disengaged. Couple of things to help in your thoughts. This does not happen with the small magazine. Properly seating this large magazine is difficult, and I am left handed.

My intent was to carry this weapon and need it to work properly 100% of the time. I have put fewer than 500 rounds through this weapon, and will not carry until I get this ironed out.

Human error, or mechanical failure.

It's getting far too expensive to figure out. Looking to buy a full size 40 cal, and not sure any longer.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? What did you do?

Gator, if you do search on this forum for Shield 40 mag drop you'll find lots of info. Also what some people have done to remedy this.
