Model 39-2, possibly a 439 or 539, but likely a 39-2.

It will fit and function in any of the 1st or 2nd Gen single stack 9mm pistols, it’s a bit too short to work in the full size single stack 9mm 3rd Gens.

Yep, an 8 round 9mm magazine for the Model 39 and its varients. They are pretty common here; I don't know about overseas. How did you come across it? Seems like a good excuse to find the gun for it.

My 1978ish 39-2 originally came with those, although it's pictured with a later production 9 round magazine for a 639 (a second generation gun).

Definitely from a 39-2/439/539, I have a bunch just like that one. That magazine is compatible with the Models 39, 39-2, and x39 pistols.

Looks like an older 39-series mag, probably for a model 39 or 6/5/439.

Thanks everyone for clarifying this

A friend and I bought all the weapons of a 90 yrs old gentleman, including the Swiss rifles I showed in another post. This magazine was in a box with other small stuff, and the gentleman has no recollection where it came from.

When I do it, I enter the code like this:

EXCEPT!!!

There needs to be a [ at the beginning of all that and a ] at the end. When you have those brackets, the magic appears:

Sorry, I didn’t have an image of one of my 39’s hosted to stay on topic. So I grabbed any old single stack S&W 9mm I had laying around! 😂
