Magazine warning on slide removable?

Has anyone removed the Caution for the removed magazine on the slide without doing any harm to the finish?

Be kinda hard to grind off the roll stamping or laser engraving (whatever it is) without harming the finish.

My bad. I should have got the pistol out and looked. I thought it was painted on rather than embossed.

That notice on my 1076 was just lasered on, not deep at all. Easily removed, but the slide would have to be refinished. I have refinished a few stainless slides. Not difficult at al... ymmv
