Magazines from S&W?

Disregard these are the short mags.. Are you guys ordering the 10 round long mags or short from S&W?

Longs as they can be modified. Although it may soon be a moot point.

This is my first post. I called S&W yesterday and talked to a rep. He told me that his opinion( and he did stress that it was his opinion only ) that new mags would be 6 to 8 weeks away.

One thing you'll learn fast around here is you will get a different answer every time you call S&W.

Has anyone heard when they are suppose to get them back in stock? I ordered mine in mid December and the sight even said in stock at the time. All I've received is an order confirmation.

Here is an email response l received this morning.Guess we just have to be patient.

"Hi David,

Sorry we don't have a lead time on any magazines at this time. We will fill the orders in the order that we received them. Your order is still in place and will ship as soon as we get some in stock."

Everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax. You will get your mags... It is extremely unlikely that any type of mag/gun ban will have any chance of making it through. And these guys buying $15 mags for $100 are off their rocker. The only way I would be concerned is if you live in a liberal stronghold like NY, then Katie bar the door...

Midway and Streicher's do not have a ship date.

I had 7-25 rounders and the weekend after the Conn. shootings I bought 3 more at my LGS. Who knew, I have been wanting to get an even 10 mags, that is what the gun case holds.
As in life, timing is everthing...

I ordered mine Christmas eve. Ten weeks from order date, or ten more weeks?

Placed my order for 2 10round longs on 1/7.. They finally charged my account on the 19th.. Hoping they come soon. Haven't got a shipping email but heard they don't do that sometimes

I placed my order for the 10 round long magazines on 1/10. The website showed them in stock, and I did get an order confirmation email the next day. I finally called today, since I've never seen anything and got worried. The customer service rep said they had shipped them on Friday, so I feel lucky. I told the person I had not seen any email confirmation, and he said they sometimes do not. I checked my credit card account, and the payment was processed on 1/22, which seems typical, especially with Monday being a holiday.

Also, I did tell the rep that I could not access my online account, figuring I'd check order status that way. He told me order status is not available online. Who knows -- maybe in my haste to enter an order as fast as possible, I just placed an order, and did not set up an account.

On a grim note, the rep told me that it will likely be "months" before any magazines are in stock. I was depressed enough that I decided not to ask for details, but probably would not have gotten anything meaningful anyway.

So ... if you are having sleepless nights wondering about your order status, give them a call. When you call, select "7" to get to a rep. If you select "2", which is for magazines orders, you get a pre-recorded message about magazine orders, followed by a disconnect.

Finally, I called right after lunch, and got right thru. I had called the previous day in the morning, and was on hold long enough that I finally hung up. YMMV.

Yea I ordered 5 25s on 12-27 and called Monday and the guy confirmed that they have no ETA on 25s or long 10s.
