just got off the phone with cabellas they have magazines in stock now! ordered 4 35 round plinker mags said would get by the 19 if you want any better go now.

I just bought a 15-22 and have been wondering about extra mags..... Nice find but 8.95 for shipping....yeeesh That is a little steep Cabelas for something that weighs less than a pound

I guess you believe everything you read on the internet too, and you haven't tried the plinker tactical magazines either. I have some and they work great. You should post only when you have something positive to say or dislike an item in a good manner, either way. When you have tried a product chime in on your experience, like or dislike. If you haven't don't put you 2 cents in on post you know nothing about.

I agree. I reviewed the promag mags for everyone. Why doesn't someone that has these mags, and thinks they are a good product, step up and post a review. Good or bad, someone post a review to help out the new members. Take some pics and show us. Inquiring minds want to know. I used an old review on these mags to base my decision to go with promag. I will admit it, I listened to the major about these mags. I think he is usually spot on about various subjects on this forum. My 2 cents just did not like the fact you HAD to use the loader for these mags according to what reviews I did see. Some one please step up and get this done please!

Cabelas has had these for a couple weeks. I got 2 in today. Haven't tried them but I read it's 50 50 on working. I didn't know they had so many bad reviews before I bought. The good thing about cabelas if they are junk they will take them back.

I received my Plinker magazine about 3 weeks ago and I've shot with it four times so far. I've yet to experience a malfunction with it. The only negative is that it doesn't have a built-in assist for loading. I didn't purchase a load assist. I bought mine through Plinker's website and received it a week after ordering.

I also have two Promags, which I received about two weeks ago. The first time I took those shooting, I experienced numerous failure to feeds with one of them. However, the second time I took it shooting it worked almost flawlessly. The only problem I had shooting with it yesterday is the bolt locking open with the last round still in the mag. Not a big issue to me.

For those in the know, why don't companies like Promag and Plinker make 25 round M&P mags? I prefer the length of the factory mags.

Yea I'd be happy with a good aftermarket 20 round mag... even s&w's is a bit long but still better than the aftermarket one's length wise... that's what keeps me away from the 30 plus ones...

Because they perceive a market for magazines larger than 25 rounds.

FWIW, the loading tool is a MUST with PT magazines.

I actually prefer the S&W 10 round short magazines. They have the load assist & function perfectly. Main reason I have the 15-22 is to keep me trained in using an AR & do so cheaper than using my .223. To me, a large part of that training has to do with muscle memory in accomplishing quick magazine changes... thus why I use 10 rounders. On a plus side, the shorts work much better when I use my bipod.

IMO, long, high capacity magazines are great for home defense but I think shorts are better for training. Of course, if you have plenty of long magazines, you can train with them half loaded.

If their we're any other magazines available I would buy the s&w but you can't find any in stock and since I only had the one it is a pain at the range to keep reloading after 10 shots. If they don't work I'll just take them back or sell them on eBay for 100 bucks each lol.
