I just stumbled on this product, and I am wondering if it has proven reliable over time. I did see some older posts on it, but wonder if anyone has been using it for awhile, and what your experience has been, esp. regarding reliability (which is key for me.)
Thanks.

Works fine in my Shield 1.0 .40 S&W. Limited use ,but 100% so far.

In my opinion, the MagGuts are the most reliable way to increase magazine capacity on the Shield 1.0 and 2.0. They also add very little length to the grip.

Bought one for my 2.0 9mm a couple weeks ago. Ran several magazines full without even a suggestion of a problem.

I'm debating between Magguts for $32.95 opposed to XTech Tactile @ $19.95. Any advantages of one vs. the other besides cost? I have an XTech installed on a 7 shot Shield 1.0 mag and it looks/works great; however, the Magguts "appears" to be a little more compact while adding the +2 on 8 round mags achieving the desired 10 round capacity. Comments appreciated. Thinking this will take place of buying a new Shield Plus.

Geez! Just saw the previous thread addressing the +2 discussion. Very much appreciated! Any updates?

Thank you all, great info. Sounds like I am on firm ground going for the Magguts. Just wanted to be sure the hype I'd seen elsewhere matched the reality.

I’ve had four sets of MagGuts in 9mm for my 1.0 Shields. They are very reliable.

I use a +2 in my 8 round mag for carry for 10+1 capability. It works well. I use Mag-Guts in any pistol I have. I've never had an issue with any of them.

Decided to go with XTech Tactical based on quality of mag extensions, ease of installation, flawless performanceand, and co$t...30% less than Maguts. Can't justify additional $12+.
That said, others may have other thoughts... Regards
