I am a huge Tom Selleck fan! Blue Bloods is currently my favorite show. The Jesse Stone movies, Quigley Down Under, and Magnum P.I. were all great.

Have you heard that they are doing another Magnum P.I.? I actually like the new Hawaii Five O show. It will be very difficult for the new Magnum show to be as good as the original. I wonder who will play Higgins and if we will see Robin Masters in the new one?

I read something in the Sunday paper about a new Magnum P. I. series in the works - but not with Tom Selleck.

I met him once in Hawaii in the 80s while he was filming PI. He seemed to be genuine and very personable.

With Selleck in his 70's, Higgin's being deceased and TC and Rick in their
60's, I could only see it work as Magnum takes over Higgin's role and is
actually the newest Robin Masters.

That said, Lilly Magnum quits the US Navy after having too many
deployments and drifts back to Oahu and her Daddy and becomes a PI,
with TC's and Rick's kids as sidekicks! Thomas and Rick & TC provide
guidance and comedy.

Sparse detail and little star power - I was under the impression from what I read earlier that it was to be a TV series. Not many single episode made for TV movies are on mainstream network TV (CBS, ABC, NBC), but maybe it's being made for A&E, HBO, etc. etc. Or maybe a series of made for TV movies like the Jesse Stone series.

Tom Selleck is also a supporter of shooting sports. He'd always donate something to Quail Unlimited when I was President and Chairman in L.A.==usually a signed script or something to auction.

Never a big fan of Magnum P.I. I do like Selleck as an actor and we are regulars for "Blue Bloods".

A remake has no appeal to us.

I can't stand Janko, and with her marrying Jamie, I've lost interest in the show. I didn't like Linda, but Janko is even worse.
