magnum primers?

I have noticed that the Lee manual specifies small pistol primers for .357 magnum loads while the Hodgdon manual specifies magnum primers for some of the same loads with the same pressures in both manuals.

Well, I can say that I have worked up loads with my small pistol magnum primers with 2400 and will continue to use them until gone. Thesn I will switch over to no small pistol magnums since I don't use 296 powder in my magnums.
