Magpul MBUS with standard 15-22 front site

Will the MAGPUL MBUS rear sight work with the 15-22 standard front sight? Another words is ring center the same height on the two rear sights, or do I have to go with MBUS front and back?

Yes, the magpul sight will work.

ETA: The front sight height is the same as a F marked front sight base, and a MBUS rear is compatible with a standard F marked front sight base.

I thought that only applied if they were both in the presence of Red Dot laser seepage and lead/copper vapors?

I have this combo and it works great - eventually I'll pick up the front MBUS.
