Mags for S&W1911

Tried that as well.

Their explanation is that my 1911 is from their custom shop and is on a different frame with different features.

But your pistol does not appear to be a Performance Center pistol due to the thin extractor as opposed to the much thicker one used on the PC pistols.

Plus, PC 1911s use standard 1911 magazines. Period.

Finally, your pictures show a magazine with a plastic floor plate in the pistol, but the one you have in the picture with the mag marked Colt is NOT the same mag as the one in the pistol (it lacks the plastic floor plate).

To end this discussion, despite the statements of the gun dealer and your comparisons, all of the 5 inch 1911s made by S&W use the same 1911 mags as for any other 1911, including the Colt.
