Scouring the internet for references to this wrongful death lawsuit leaving a widow! I just cannot seem to locate it

I shall assume this is another fantasy of reds until directed to evidence of fact, as I do his assertion that Texans somehow mistake him for an Australian as a result of their residence in the Lone Star state.

I shall now retire to my library to continue my extensive work (soon to be published) on the correlation between fantasy spy novel fans and hot air balloons.

I guess I'll jump back in here and show a couple of items (non gun related) that I made for my daughters. I've got one more to go but here is the first two.
I call them doodad boxes.

I love that box! On the topic of non gun gear with my wife being a veterinarian, honey do's often come in for the four-legged companions in our lives. She's been asking me to make a chest harness for a little while now and I finally cave back at the beginning of the summer. As you can see, Annie is thrilled to be modeling it. I want to make an addition with a waist strap as some point and some saddle bags to tote a little weight around hiking. There is a mountain man museum up in TN that shows a set up made for a German Shepperd which was trained to go down the mountain and retrieve the owners grocery's, list and payment in the bags when he arrived at the general store.

Not many people know how to "take" Mr. Nichols. I don't know him personally, but I've heard many things about him as well as reading what he has to say on other forums and internet sites. When I was making holsters years ago, he was one of the first holster "Gurus" I heard of.

Two things I know about Red Nichols from my reading:
First, there are a few folks at the top of the holster industry that might be his equal, but none better.
Second, he is one incorrigible S*B.

Don't bother trying to understand the man, but trust me, he's forgotten more about leather and holsters than most people will ever know (although he'd never admit to forgetting.) Some of us, myself included, could use a few more tips from the Master before y'all go trying to run him off.

I see you are from Down Under. May be you should reach back there and pull the plug and let some of that gas out. Just sayin.

Smithbrother, I think you'll find there are a good many number of folks on here that like to cobble their own wares. Looking at your holster from what I can see my only problem with it would be you don't have a full grip at any point. If full coverage is the desire you may consider a full flap holster so that you can still get your mitts on the guns grip. May just be the picture though. Is the buffalo your using a veg tan? Where do you source it?

Wow. I don't know anything about making holsters, but I do know that I've been sick all week, feeling like the dickens, and after reading all of these posts, and seeing some great leather work, I feel a lot better.

Well, part of feeling better comes from laughing so hard that tears were actually coming out of my eyes. I hope that I never offend anyone on this forum, cause most of you aren't just great at holster making, you can sure come up with some of the greatest put downs I've ever heard.

Seriously, I have seen some really wonderful holster designs, and beautifully executed leather work in this thread. Good work all!!!
