After seeing all the threads started about the Super Bowl, commercials, half time, exchanges flying back and forth and new comments on other threads, I can only conclude that we, as men, CAN multi-task!

Sir, I do not multi-task. I just mono-task at a very, very high frequency.

I can read the newspaper and watch the news simultaneously.
I cannot, however, pay attention to both at the same time. My Wife will be in the room and will comment on something on the news. I will look up from the paper quizzically, not knowing what she is talking about. I have trained myself to ignore most of the news except something that interests me, then I put down the paper and listen.
Missus P&R Fan can't understand this.
I consider this multi-tasking. She considers it dementia.
I love her anyway.

I'm with Walker, i'm on the forum, watching game, and trying to pet the dog on my lap. All the while snacking and drinking
my raspberry sweet tea.

Awww... it's good to be multi-task/talented. I've been reading the forum, commenting on threads, watching da game, drinking Dr. Pepper and checking email on my mobile device... er... what was I doing?
Some years back, some group or another made a study of brain function between men and women. The conclusion was that women have brains capable of focussing on two things at once, whilst men
can only focus well on one thing at a time, possibly related to a
hunting criteria. No mention was made of a woman being able to remember forever a man's slightest mistake, and regurgitate it
for the same amount of time. Just sayin'... TACC1

My talents include being able to go outside to smoke a cigar, drink a beer and relieve myself all at the same time. I'm also watching the dog to make sure she doesn't wonder off. If that's not multi-tasking I don't know what is.

During the game last night, I was watching the game, making a pizza for immediate consumption, cooking dinner for myself for the rest of the week, ironing and assembling my work uniforms for the week and talking to my wife/kids on the phone. Amazingly, I didn't burn anything!!

In the south there is sweet tea and unsweeted tea. It goes in a glass with ice. You go out to eat or to someone's home and the answer to what would you like to drink is SWEET TEA. You can get hot tea down here but it is mainly in the Chinese resturants. And that is your Southern tip for the day.

We can multi task,alright,but women are better at it.
Sit down in a busy 911 center sometime and watch a dispatcher work not one,but two busy radios,take an emergency call and cad it,or do CPR over the phone,and eat lunch at the same time.All this while being aware of everything else going on in the center.
They are all grossly underpaid.
