Manufacture date for S&W Model 1000 Shotgun

Does anyone have info. on manufacture date on Model 1000 shotguns by serial #??

I don't have any info for dates by serial #. S&W imported them from Howa (Japan) in the early 1980s. Mossberg imported the same guns from Howa after S&W. I would guess the first half of the 80s as date made. Mossberg imports would be later 80s i think.
