Manufacture Date of S&W M10?

How can I find out date of manufacture?

Serial number is CEJ8429

One of a couple of ways, one email or call S&W or if your weapon came with the original case look in it for a test round which is fired on all weapons at the factory and it will be dated as well as the technician who tested the weapon out.

This test round will be in a tiny manila envelope with all the info on it. Usually it will be in the case under the foam where the gun and magazines lay!

Welcome to the Forum. The standard S & W reference doesn't list the CEJ prefix specifically, but late 2000 is probably correct. Customer service can give you the correct date as Houdini mentioned. Hope this is helpful.
