Marlin 60 - worst rifle ever made?

In 1990, I inherited a Model 60 that had spent its life as a truck gun for a user of firearms. It had surface rust and did not fit my idea of a gun I want to own. Shooing ti developed a home for it. For six years it sat in my barn exposed the elements but handled its chore fine. For the last 20 years it has enjoyed a safe life. It is dependable, reliable and reasonably accurate.
It does compete with my small collection of 10-22s but it is a reliable shooter.

Like some other brands if you want a well built, reliable gun, find a nice used one and buy it. Sometimes "new and improved" ain't necessarily true. Look for blue steel ,stainless or nickle, and nice wood.
