Marvin Huey’s triple casing of Colt revolvers

I recently returned from the Missouri Valley Gun Collectors Sgow in Kansas City and I was able to purchase Marvin Huey's personal gun case with three French fitted Colt revolvers inside. There is a Officers Model 38 Special, an Officers Model 32 ( quite rare ) and a Official Police 22 along Rifle. All 3 are King modified Super Targets and all 3 are fitted ith Roper thumb rest target stocks and they are all pre war revolvers. The case is oak and leather with French fitted red billiard cloth and solid brass fittings. All 70+ screws are indexed. Here are some photos. Bill

In the late 1960s / early 1970s I was a "Bullseye Shooter". The old Gentleman that shot in my classifications used a set of Colt Revolver like these. His name was "Pop" St. John.

It doesn't get any better than that! Getting ONE Colt revolver with a King Super Target Rib would be amazing. Getting THREE is spectacular! Getting ONE revolver with an original pair of Roper Thumbrest Target Grips is lucky. Getting THREE is unbelievable! Getting a Huey Gun Case is stunning. Getting Marvin Huey's Huey Gun Case is fabulously impressive!

Wow.........the guns gorgeous...the case even more so. What a display, and what a centerpiece for any collection.

Marvin Huey's home page showed him and some of his employees at Tulsa in 2019. The case with 3 Colts on the far left looks like the very one you now have.

What a great acquisition from an absolute master craftsman.
