Stephen Halbrook is one of the foremost legal experts on Second Amendment issues. This is a very important case, and one that is critical to the rights of every resident of that misguided state.

It will definitely be interesting to see how this shakes out.
Supreme Court has to take the case for it to be heard.
I suspect they will not take the case unless the defendant had applied for a permit and was denied. Even so, my guess is that the Supreme Court wants to hear a case where a law abiding citizen applied, was denied and then brought suit. Just like in McDonald and Heller
