The legislation that was signed on Thursday by Gov. O'Malley.. includes an assault weapons ban ("because historically 416 people have been killed by them"), (vs 80 per day in automobiles...) a ten rnd limit and State Troopers can suspend dealer licenses for poor record keeping...

Rep. Neil Parrot, hopefully with the support of the NRA, will be taking action by filing suit against the laws as unconstitutional.

It's weird having MD, NJ and NY for neighbors. When you cross into Pa it's a whole other world. Our gun laws are so different from these socialist utopias, it's hard to believe we border them.

I (kind of) know what you mean... I grew up in MD and went to college in VA... night & day in lots of ways

DC is just another planet

It's only going to get worse. Marylands 7 day waiting period is now up to 80 days. Just what the governor wants.

I've been getting Rand Paul's newsletter and am very impressed with both the volume and integrity of the work he does on a monthly basis. He recently reinforced his commitment to fight any infringement of constitutional rights, especially the 2A. This guy is becoming a potent asset on the national level and is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. We need to invest the time and attention to identify, vet and support those that are standing up for our fundamental rights.
