I recently acquired a MASS State Police M&P 2.0 45. These pistols were sold to Mass State Police dept, issued but never used. They are compact with 4" barrels. I want to obtain a threaded barrel that will drop in.
I've exhausted me google searching skills and find nothing.
Can anybody point me in right direction for this barrel, or better yet, do any forum members have a 4" threaded barrel that will fit?

SilencerCo makes a threaded barrel for the M&P 45. It is probably a little longer than you are looking for, but should have no fitment problems. I don't think the full size and compact 45 barrels differed more than a 1/4".

Thanks for the replies, I can't find barrel made specifically for this gun, oh well.

On another note, what would a pistol like this bring on market, Mass State Police marked gun?
NIB with bright night sights and 3 magazines in 45 ACP

These were reportedly order, delivered and then PD found something they didn't like about them, purchased by wholesaler and sold on market, approx 1800 or so made with these markings.

What will it bring, I am thinking selling but want to be fair and SMART at same time.
Ballpark price please...
Thanks

I'm not sure what if any the Mass PD markings add to the value. In early December I attended a small show in Mansfield, Ohio and used 45 caliber M&Ps had price tags of $400-$425 and were not changing hands. The only M&P interest seems to be 9mm. Have you checked the closed auctions on the auction sites for prices?

I saw one of those at a gun show a few weeks ago for $400 and it was still there Sunday afternoon. I have found that anything that is commemorated or has special marks, logos, engraving, etc has to have some attachment to a buyer before it will sell.

Fair enough.

The link above shows the price when they were sold. If you have all the backstraps and mags, you can expect about the same price.

You may find some listed on Gunbroker.

I’m surprised the MSP didn’t take a grinder to the markings like the Japanese did with the chrysanthemum on their Arisakas before they released them.

I agree 4-500 tops
Regardless, it’s still a plastic gun is all. JMO

Took the gun to Ohio gun show this past weekend and it sold for $600 so guess I did really good at that price. Was not much interest overall but I ran into a guy who was looking for one of these police marked pistols...lucky me!
thanks to all replies!

Best
