My wife has extensive nerve pain throughout her body and circulation problems in her legs. I was thinking of getting her a commercial grade massage chair. When I look at them on the internet, every brand says it is the best. I have a budget of up to $10,000 for a chair. Do any of you have experience with these and what are your thoughts as to their therapeutic value?

Friend of mine has similar situation, his suggestion is to talk with a couple of Physical Therapists, maybe a pain specialist too, and get their opinion.
While at it, ask if he could help to get you one through your insurance.

He has back, legs and arm/hand pain but it is a coming/going type of thing since he refuses to slow down and is willing to suffer.
He says the chair, along with heat and an occasional amount of meds does help.

I know it is not an entire chair, but my wife as one of those seat and back type pads that you place in a chair and plug in. She swears by it.

I have a Slabway chair that has been used daily years,4,5,6. I did not come anywhere near the top of you budget.

I have several friends who own massage chairs.
They vary quite a bit in cost and features.
There are some aspects of them very enjoyable. But, most are still in need of refinement in my opinion.
I’ve found nearly all of them too aggressive on the spine. The hard rollers are not comfortable. And, myself and the misses both enjoy an aggressive massage.

My best advice is to make sure you throughly test drive before buying one.
