Matte stainless converted to satin (shiny)?

I have a NIB 627 Pro (matte finish) and I would like to get it to a satin finish. Can this be done? Does S&W do this? Any recommendations?

Will like require more aggressive polishing than Mothers alone.

I polished out a matte finish 65-5 with good results.
Same process should work for yours.

Wow, that shine is beautiful. Is it harder to keep a polished up beauty like that looking new? Or does everything wipe off cleaner since there is less to grab on to?

Bought some Mothers Mag Polish and started on my 627 today. It is making a difference already. Tried Flitz before and had zero luck. Thanks for the tip.
