I am looking to buy a MacFadden Lightnin loader for my M&P 15-22 but I am having some trouble locating a seller.

Amazon will not ship this item to New Zealand and the McFadden web sight will not sell to this country either unless someone is purchasing multiple units of an adaptor that the local agent will not import (the local agent is a rip off merchant charging wayyyyy to much). As I am after only the 15-22 adaptor which is imported here McFadden will not sell to me.

Midway only have the now discontinued Ultimate loader as do Brownells (could use one of those too for my Browning Buckmark pistols).

So is there any place in the US that these are for sale that I could pick up on our road trip?

An itinerary would help.

I'm 50 miles West of st. Louis, mile marker 193 on I-70. Tell me exactly which one you want and I'll order it for you if you wish.

If they are that hard to get, you might want 2 or 3. No problem either way.

Look up my club. Bench Rest Rifle Club of st. Louis. Web site is shootingstl.com

Those loaders are something to desire. I really want one but would like to get it a bit cheaper by doing a bulk order of six with the adapters. I know two other people that have a 15-22 that I know would buy one at that price just need to find 3 more in my area. Tried to start a group buy on another forum but got no bites.
Sure would make loading the mags quicker.

They are nice. I've got adaptors for the AR 15/22 black dog mags, S&W Victory, M&P 22, 10/22 after market mags, and M&P 22 Compact. I use their original loader for all my Ruger pistols.

Thanks, that's a fantastic offer.

I will PM you directly.

How about looking up a local gunshop in one of those cities and have them order everything you need ?( Give them a CC to prepay so there is no risk on their part.) Then you can pick up your order at your leisure (and do some case drooling) as you roll through town.

Well, we do have a local gun store in my town if Kiwicop has time. Not as impressive as Cabelas or any of the big boys of course. If time permits he can visit my club as well.

p.s Hopefully the subject loader works better than their version for the Ruger MK series pistols. I never got mine to load two full mags in a row (ever)!!

Never tried their dedicated pistol loader, but their Lightning Grip loader works as advertised and then some.

Mine has probably loaded over 250k rounds over 3 years and the only thing I have to do is tear it down once a year to clear out all the bullet lube that accumulates over time. I'm actually amazed that it hasn't broken a part with the abuse it gets.

Then you're doing something wrong, because I've loaded a ton of magazines with one, even after they get gummed up and dirty. Hold it upright and pop the bottom of the mag up and down. Level out the screw to set your follower distance. You will eventually have to take it apart and clean it up from time to time with wax coated ammunition, but mine has been ridiculously good with MK standard series, 22/45, and Buckmark mags alike.

Thanks ato garystl

I have now tried out both my McFadden Lightning mag loader and original pistol mag loader for my Browning Buckmark magazines.

Both are working as advertised. Fill up the Browning mags with 10 rounds each in a few seconds and the 15-22 mags with slightly more time (5 - 6 seconds to squeeze the trigger 10 times).

Thanks :D:D:D:D
