Mdl 296, Forcing cone/muzzle chamfering

The 296 has an insert style barrel. The forcing cone looks pretty thin, and the muzzle has rifling all the way out. I think it would benefit from proper angle chamfering but am concerned about doing that with this type of barrel.
Thoughts??

We're not suppose to bash any new S&W designs anymore.... so I won't. What I would advise is that a gun with an insert type barrel - - leave well enough alone! Unless there are others here who have worked on this type of barrel and know better than I, I would think it would be too thin to mess with, but quite honestly I have never worked on one of these "new fangled" things.

Ken 158, Factory specs presume not enough time to fine tune. Look at the recent post about shrinking groups with a 5-degree cut.
I figure the cone is too thin, but the muzzle is fairly robust. I'm definitely tending towards Chief's thinking!!
