Good Day. Most pleased to find this forum.

I have been an S&W fan my entire life. I'm sure there are other great sidearms, but I'm a bit stubborn / loyal and intend to stay that way.

Now for the question.
I purchased my 6906 new from a dealer, early 90's I think.
It's in mint condition. My personal CCW. I am looking for a Laser for it. I was out, once again, looking on the web when I ran across the link for this forum. What better place to ask. :)

If anyone, anywhere can point me to a web sight or dealer, that can provide me with one, I would more than appreciate it.

We have ongoing gun shows at two different locations, all they ever have to offer is the " tape on " style. I know nothing about them. It looks they would have to be re-adjusted every time the weapon was fired. Maybe not.

If you own, or have owned one of that style, please share your thoughts about it.

Thanks all.

Raven,
I grew up in Jacksonville from the Southside.

I too am looking for a laser sight for my 6906; purchased in the mid to late 80's. I been looking for a laser sight off and on for a while.

I'll keep you in mind when I find it, don't forget about me.

How about a CT Laser for a 6906

Add me to the list of people wanting a laser grip on a 3gen. I bugged Crimson Trace a number of times - even asked how many they would have to sell to make one and they didn't even want to talk about it.

So I finally decided to do something about it. Bought a 6906 and the CT model for a 5900 and am in the process of modifying it to fit the 6906. The credit (if it works <G>) kind of goes to Big Dog and his CS grips as that is the same theory I'm working on.

If I knew before hand what is involved I probably wouldn't have tried it as there are a number of technical issues to contend with - there are modifications necessary to the wiring, holes to fill, and some very precise cutting and drilling required. I've made - and discarded - several jigs, but I'm pretty happy with the current model and I may actually do some cutting tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Guide Rod Laser for our S&W 6906

Well, I decided to send an email to LaserMax looking for a Laser. I do like the Guide Rod Laser. My question and their answer below.

LaserMax,

I am looking for a “Guide Rod Laser” (green or red) to fit the S&W Model #6906? I do not see one on your web site but I was wondering if there is a fit/fix for the 6906 in the near future?

Thank you in advance for your reply,

Victor

and LaserMax's reply;

We do not have any green guide rod lasers available and do not make any lasers that will fit your firearm. Please contact me if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
